The victim cannot be killed by the story in the field, but can be killed by outside influences. An example is to say a person burdened with a large wound is stuck in a field. They would die from blood loss, not from being shot by a figure in the field. There are cons to this skill... The cast in the story of the field must stay in character. Let's say you are trapped in a field and you are talking to your mother who is an illusion of the field. We're going to pretend she's a nice person. If the story says that she has been abusing you and it tries to act on that, the distortion field will crumble. This skill is not one on offense, but defense. It's mostly used as a decoy or a way of blinding someone's view with a different reality.
